      Managing the Transition Phase in Your e-Record Implementation

      Managing the transition phase has been consistently identified as the most critical challenge in your e-record implementation. We understand initial assessment and planning, along with policy and procedures, but executing a project with a multitude of stakeholders, and complexities requires an approach that incorporates methodologies and best practices for the transition phase itself.

      This workshop is meant to bring issues related to the implementation of an enterprise e-record software solution to the forefront to enable managers and designers to anticipate issues and pre-plan their implementations.  Put simply, the workshop provides a source of information to address the question, “What are the issues that I need to consider when implementing an enterprise information management (EIM) solution?”  The session will include lessons learned, a self-assessment, and positive

      Rick Stirling has over 40 years IT experience. He is well-rounded in communication, hardware, software and system integration with a specialty over the last 15 years in the implementation of dozens of enterprise information management solutions. He has led many consulting engagements for needs assessment, gap analysis, policy and business case development. He has held many executive positions in ARMA International including a member of the international board of directors and President of the Canadian Region and is a frequent speaker in both the United States and Canada.
